Lead Project Manager - India OEM Programs (10-15 Years)

What Will You Do?
Project Leadership & Execution
Lead end‑to‑end planning and execution of product development projects within the automotive domain.
Ensure all projects are aligned with overall business goals, customer expectations, and organizational strategy.
Develop detailed project plans including scope, timelines, deliverables, milestones, and risk assessments.
Track project progress, maintain schedules, and ensure timely delivery of project phases.
Review and approve documentation throughout project initiation, development, integration, testing, and implementation.
Financial & Resource Management
Analyze project‑related financial data to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
Implement, manage, and monitor project budgets in line with cost targets.
Calculate financial and operational risks, propose mitigation strategies, and maintain risk registers.
Produce financial summaries, dashboards, and executive‑level project reports for senior leaders and stakeholders.
Distribute, allocate, and optimize resources to meet project requirements.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the primary point of contact for Indian OEMs.
Manage customer expectations, provide regular updates, and drive resolution of escalations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
Ensure strong alignment between customer needs and internal project execution.
Process Improvement & Governance
Review and update existing project management processes, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across project planning, execution, and reporting.
Ensure adherence to service delivery processes and tools, maintaining high-quality project governance.
Foster cross-team collaboration and promote operational simplicity and efficiency.
What Will You Bring?
Functional Competencies
Proven leadership experience managing complex automotive product development projects.
Strong stakeholder management & customer engagement skills.
Experience with service delivery processes, tools, and documentation standards.
Good understanding of P&L concepts, budgeting, cost control, and forecast accuracy.
Prior experience working with Indian OEMs, preferably on safety-critical automotive systems.
Exposure to automotive manufacturing environments (preferred).
