What you'll do?
System Verification & Validation
Perform system‑level V&V activities aligned with the V‑model, including requirement analysis, test case creation, execution, and reporting.
Analyze system, software, and interface requirements to derive comprehensive test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
Ensure requirement coverage and traceability across all test levels (system → test case → result).
Vehicle‑Level & Integration Testing
Execute vehicle‑level testing including IO‑based validation and CAN / CAN‑FD message‑based communication testing.
Validate system behavior during normal, boundary, and fault conditions.
Support integration testing between ECUs and subsystems in vehicle and bench setups.
Test Automation & Execution
Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts using CAPL and Python for system and regression testing.
Execute manual and automated test cases using Vector tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, and CANStress.
Improve test efficiency by identifying opportunities for automation and reusable test assets.
Test Setup & Tools Handling
Prepare and maintain test setups including hardware, software, network configuration, and instrumentation.
Use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, programmable power supplies, and function generators for system validation and debugging.
Support bench testing, HIL‑level exposure (if applicable), and vehicle testing setups.
Customer & Acceptance Testing
Support customer acceptance testing for production‑intended software releases.
Work at customer locations as required to perform system and vehicle testing.
Analyze and troubleshoot customer‑reported issues, providing detailed observations and root‑cause insights.
Defect Management & Analysis
Log, track, and manage defects using issue management tools such as JIRA or PTC.
Perform issue reproduction, analysis, and validation of fixes in collaboration with development teams.
Provide clear test reports, logs, and evidence to support defect closure.
Process, Reviews & Documentation
Participate in requirements and test specification reviews to ensure clarity, consistency, and testability.
Prepare and maintain test artifacts including test plans, schedules, execution reports, and review presentations.
Follow and contribute to ASPICE / CMMI‑compliant processes and quality audits.
Continuously improve testing approaches, methodologies, and best practices.
What will you bring?
Technical Competencies
Strong understanding of CAN and CAN‑FD protocols, signals, DBCs, and network diagnostics.
Hands-on experience with UDS.
EDR system validation experience.
Hands‑on experience with Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, CANStress).
Practical experience in test automation scripting using CAPL and Python (Java exposure is an added advantage).
Good understanding of automotive embedded systems, ECU interactions, and software development life cycle.
Familiarity with requirements management tools such as CodeBeamer.
Experience with configuration and issue management tools like PTC and JIRA.
Exposure to test and measurement equipment used in automotive labs and vehicle testing.
Process & Quality Knowledge
Understanding of V‑model development, verification strategies, and automotive quality standards.
Awareness of ASPICE and/or CMMI processes and their application in testing activities.
Behavioral & Professional Skills
Ability to handle tasks independently with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical and debugging skills, especially at system and vehicle level.
Good communication skills for working with cross‑functional and customer teams.
Proactive, self‑motivated, and quick learner with openness to new tools and technologies.

Preferred Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (BE/BTech/ME/MTech)
