What You Will Do?
Lead requirements engineering and management activities for Passive Safety/Airbag electronic systems in compliance with ISO 26262 and ASPICE guidelines.
Elicit, analyze, document, and manage system and software requirements, ensuring completeness, consistency, and quality.
Establish and maintain end-to-end requirement traceability, baseline management, impact analysis, and change control throughout the development lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with system, hardware, software, validation, and integration teams to ensure requirements are effectively implemented, verified, and validated.
Support requirement reviews, test coverage analysis, and change management activities, ensuring compliance with automotive standards and customer expectations.
Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making for passive safety systems.
Work with requirement management and engineering tools such as DOORS, Polarion, Codebeamer, PTC, JIRA, and Enterprise Architect.
Develop and utilize automation solutions using DXL and Python to improve requirement management efficiency, reporting, and metrics generation.
Contribute to functional safety activities, including HARA, FMEA, and other safety analyses.
Drive continuous improvement of requirement engineering processes, methodologies, and tools while ensuring project deliverables are met on time.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and global teams, providing technical support, planning, communication, and project execution assistance.
What You Will Bring?
5+ years of experience in Requirements Engineering within the automotive industry, preferably in Passive Safety/Airbag systems.
Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, development, documentation, management, and traceability.
Hands-on experience with IBM DOORS, Polarion, Codebeamer, or similar requirements management tools.
Good understanding of Systems Engineering practices, including V-Model and MBSE methodologies.
Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, SPI, or FlexRay.
Strong understanding of ASPICE, ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, and automotive development processes.
Experience in Functional Safety activities, including HARA, FMEA, and safety lifecycle management.
Proficiency in DXL scripting and Python for requirements automation and reporting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess requirement changes, perform impact analysis, and drive resolution of technical challenges.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
A proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
IREB Certification and experience with Enterprise Architect will be an added advantage.
Preferred Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
